(A/N Hey everypony~! You may seem a bit childish cuz you grew up in a neighborhood where you're the oldest and well, you have to admit, little kids rub off on you!! You're also pretty smart, cuz I don't think pretty and a little weird cuts it at a first glance)
Prologue- Moving Away and Stories
(Name) just finished the Middle Collage program with not only her High School Diploma but her Associates Degree. She instantly turned around and applied for (university) and every time the mail came she would stop playing with the neighborhood children or doing her chores and anxiously get the mail. She was 19, she had to get out of the house she was raised in. She waited for a month, and one fateful Monday, wedged in between a LEGO magazine and a Target catalog for summer attire, there was a letter addressed to (Full Name) with (University)'s return address printed in the upper left corner. She brought it in, throwing the other mail on the kitchen table and slowly opening the envelope, careful not to rip the precious somewhat yellow paper. The neighborhood twins Sophia and Daniel-who were only 10 by the way-walked inside after her. She was used to the younger kids coming in for various reasons, be it homework help or helping her with her house chores.
"What are you looking at (Nickname)?", Sophia asked, her twin brother pulling on your sleeve.
"Something I've been waiting for since school ended." (Name) said as she unfolded the light blue paper. When she read it, she almost couldn't believe it. Her (e/c) eyes grew wide with an excited glint as a grin of pure joy wiped across her face.
"What are you really happy about? I wanna be happy with you!", Daniel exclaimed.
"I got into (University)! I've been wanting to go there since I was your age, De-De and Nan-Yell!", (Name) answered, calling them by the names she would use when they were 4. They both jumped up and down chanting "Yay~! (Nickname) got into (University)!!" When their excitement settled, she explained she was moving out of the city to go and she would have a lot of things to do so they couldn't play together anymore, or at least not as much as before.
"Aww...." they groaned sadly. (Name) really left a footprint on all of the people in the neighborhood since she and her parents moved into a house there when she was 9. She was childish and free enough to play with the smallest of children, yet mature and understanding enough to hold a conversation with the neighborhood adults and elders.
Her version of reality was a bit twisted, however.
"Can you tell us the stories about the nation people one last time? PLEASE?", they begged
"OK, I'll be glad to.', (Name) smiled as she recounted the tale, "Once upon a time, there was a man who conquered the Mediterranean Sea and gained all the world's wealth. He was the personification of the great Roman Empire...."
She loved hearing stories about how each nation of the world had a person representing it, and how each of those people had an evil counterpart that was basically the crimes of the nation. She would take these stories and tell them to the children so they could understand it, but the older citizens though it was kind of crazy, to be honest. She would tell them all the time and there were some stories she told annually, like the story of 9/11 and how the man representing America experienced the same pain as gunshots to the stomach when it happened. Eventually, she began believing that it was true, that the nations had personifications and that they had evil counterparts up to no good like the Mafia.
That can't be right, can it?

Prologue
The buzzing alarm clock drove the teen away from dream land, waking her up from her last free night of the weekend to the morning she returned to school.
She had dreaded returning to school, and certainly wasn't happy to be woken up from such a wonderful dream. You know, that reoccurring one that you'll have once in a while. The one where you never want to wake up from.
It was the dream when she was still in elementary school, where she, her older brother, and parents were all happy. Of course, that happy dream came to an end. Thankfully is skipped where her parents got a divorce, and (Name) began l

(Reader's POV)
At first we thought we were special, that we were one of a kind. We thought we were the only type of living being like us. The countries, the personification of countries. We thought that being one of our kind was something to be proud of, something only we understood. We had no idea. None at all, about so much in the universe. We were so stupid and that's why it was so easy for them.
We refused to
